RunAlyzer is an application that allows you to tweak your system. In fact, it allows you to modify what runs on your computer on start-up. The application is not the regular msconfig GUI, though. It actually scans your computer in search for applications that automatically run when you turn on your computer. RunAlyzer connects to an on-line database to look for known paths in your computer. Thus, it knows exactly what applications should be where and how they should be starting-up. When you open the application, you will see all the start-up applications. Each of them will be highlighted with a color. The applications that are supposed to be good are tagged with a green highlight. Those that really shouldn't be there are highlighted in red. RunAlyzer also allows you to export your logs to other applications of the same kind. So if you stop liking this application, you can simply switch and all the wotk RunAlyzer has done won't be lost. This program also supports Windows x64 versions, which should run faster and better. |
